The CECM for Lands, Urban Development and Roads, Hon. Nathaniel Nganga, has officially received the report for the Second Annual Performance Assessment (APA II) for Machakos Municipality from M/S Alpex Consulting Africa Limited, following the successful completion of the assessment exercise.
The assessment evaluated the municipality’s compliance with key performance standards under the urban development framework, with the municipal team demonstrating strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Throughout the process, officers diligently compiled and presented essential documentation, reflecting improved institutional coordination and preparedness.
The exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen urban governance systems and enhance the efficiency of service delivery within Machakos Municipality.
The successful completion of APA II is expected to yield tangible benefits for residents, including improved urban planning, better drainage systems, enhanced waste management, and more efficient municipal services.
